to Spirit for finishing her ASFA field championship at MAHA's Lure Coursing Trial in Reidsville, NC today! Thank you to judges Sandra Moore and Jim Anthony for her first placement wins this weekend!

About Spirit

Spirit was born on November 20th, 2007, and joined us at the end of March, 2008. This little red girl has stolen my heart. Get her outside and she is a wild and crazy girl, able to hold her own at day-care with much larger dogs and has become an avid SWIMMER! But get her at home and she is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. Her speed amazes me and I love to watch her in the yard. She will go from what seems like top speed, running across the field, then "BAAM", she kicks it into another gear! We always knew she was something special and she proved it this past year - she was the #1 Whippet and #1 Sighthound for 2009 and 2010 AKC Lure Coursing! She also went on to be the 2010 AKC National Lure Coursing Champion. In 2011, Spirit took a new direction and finished her Dual Championship title and then became the 2011 #1 Dual Champion in AKC Lure Coursing.
Her Sire is Gonzo (FC TnTs Scream Dream LCM-3); who is out of Moe (NFC FC TnTs the Joker LCM-10 MC) and Ima (DC TnTs Ima Wanderer Too LCM-6 MC ROM).
Her Mother is Sizl (FC Snowhill Sizl FCh SC); who is out of Davis (DC Chelsea Long Kiss Goodnight FCh SC) and Sara (CH Summit N Snowhill Shared Gold SC ROMX).

We look forward to a litter from Spirit in 2012!
